Worship can be a challenge for UU’s.  This month we’ll look at how what is worthy of worship.  We’ll name the challenges, make connections, share passion and “a-ha” moments.

We believe that our beliefs do not stand still, but grow and develop throughout our lives. What does it mean to have faith? What stages of faith do we experience?

Skepticism, Doubt and So What?

In a world full of doubt, when daily survival can be a challenge, what difference does it make to live an ethical life?  Do conscience and morality really make a difference?

All We Cannot Hold

Our lives can overflow at times and we need ways in which to explore, respect and gain perspective.  As individuals gathered in community, we become a family of sorts, with sacred time set aside for reflection and the search for meaning. How do we hold all that we are? What can prayer and ritual offer us?

A time of deepening, of sacred quiet meditation.  A time to acknowledge oneness and unity.  A time to name precious relationships.

Arts & Spirituality

As the slow, still winter settles in, the time to lift up the alchemy of the arts is coming. There are many ways to express the nature of our souls and our humanity.

At times we struggle just to survive and sustain.  And yet, it is often difficult to see the duality of suffering. Can we name the gifts of life, even in hard times?

Natural disasters, overpopulation, natural resources, employment, immigration.  These are all challenges that call out for a response. Nature & Spirituality

As we emerge from winter and welcome back the robins, feel the soft rains upon the earth, we will incorporate earthly elements into our weekly worship, acknowledging the interdependent web of our existence.

Journeys & Stages

Each of us in on a threshold of some nature.  Perhaps it is a life transition borne of aging, grief, illness or a transformation where discovery and acceptance have been the catalyst for change.  Spring is a time to acknowledge all of life’s stages.

What are the ideals and dreams to which we aspire? How do we reach the best of ourselves and others? How do our longings shape the choices we make in our lives?
